Westward Contests on Facebook

How many Westward fans out there think that the recent Westward contests on Facebook are a hint that we are getting closer and closer to Westward IV?

I happen to feel the very same way, LetMePlay. I do think that the recent interest in Westward on the Facebook page certainly does indicate that WW IV is getting nearer to us! Now if we could only get Sandlot to make an announcement!!

Kim,

Where are all the people that post? Do they just come here when they need help? I have played many games and as always the first place I went to look for help, updates etc was the website where I got the game.

Where are all the people that say they want to be moderators etc? Does not seem to be much going on at the facebook site either. No I do not belong to facebook and I have never belonged to facebook. But I can go there and look around.

Hi Play,

I think like anything else, it takes some time for things to get started. Like you, I would agree that the best place to go and get help, advice, info, etc. for a game would be the site where you got the game, but it seems to also take some time to catch on. The Facebook page for sandlot games has grown over the last few months from a few hundred fans to the 1800+ that there are now. However, the traffic can be slow there as well, depending on what is being discussed.

The Westward contest posts and the moderator application posts did cause some chatter there, so hopefully traffic will pick up. I hope to see all of the people that have applied to be moderators come to these forums and begin posting. I would think that would show their willingness to fulfill the responsibilities they are volunteering for.

Sandlot just changed over to this forum about 2 weeks ago. So your still one of the first to find this deligthful forum.

and facebook does nothing for me, I never go there so didn't see anything about IV till I came to the sandlot web site

I agree Sunshine. I never use facebook or any of those sites listed at the bottom of the web pages.

This is a fairly new site here. I guess when they want this site inundated with people they will link the other site directly to this one. Nice to see new people here.

Yep Westward IV is going to make this place Rock 'N Roll. So will Westward V and VI when they come out. Sandlot is growing so hopefully new games will come out faster. Daniel started Sandlot I believe around 2002.

I am sure they are working on another game in the series you like. If you have not tried the Westward series you may want to try it. I play it for fun and relaxation.

Don't forget to go into all of the Neighborhood Chatter and the Games News and Announcements areas and give your view on things you like and do not like etc.
