Curacao - Sportsbet.io just signed a deal to become the Main Club Partner of Watford F.C. The deal is said to be the largest in the history of the 2019 FA Cup finalists, and makes the sports betting brand the first crypto-currency sportsbook to ever appear on a Premier League team’s shirt.

With this deal, the Sportsbet logo will be seen on Watford shirts in the next three years. The logo will also be on the training kits given to both the men and ladies’ teams. Another provision in the deal is for the Sportsbet.io brand to be featured Vicarage Road, Watford’s home ground, particularly during its Premier League opening game against Brighton. The deal will therefore come into effect on August 10th, which is when the new Premier League season kicks off.

This exciting development gives Sportsbet more reason to celebrate as they mark their third anniversary by taking a huge step in their marketing ventures. This follows their sponsorship of the recently concluded CONIFA European Football Cup, the winner of which was South Ossetia. The sportsbook has certainly been busy this year, as they have also recently released a video entitled, Know No Borders. This video was, in fact, released to celebrate their partnership with Watford. A special promotion has also been kicked off in celebration of the Watford deal. Details of the promotion can be found in the Sportsbet.io Casino.

Both parties are naturally excited about this deal and what it could potentially lead to. Justin Le Brocque, Sportsbet Head of Sportsbook Marketing, has this to say: “The Premier League is the most watched sports league in the world, so we are absolutely delighted to announce a major sponsorship deal with one of its most celebrated teams.”

He adds, “Like Watford, Sportsbook.io knows no borders in its efforts to bring fun, fast, and fair entertainment and excellence to a truly global audience. We are both looking to disrupt more established competitors and need to be creative in the way we approach this challenge. We share the club’s desire to combine passion and innovation to reach the top, and we look forward to doing everything we can to support Watford next season and beyond.”

For their part, Watford Global Strategy & Partnerships Director Spencer Field said: “This is an important year for the club as we aim to improve on a fantastic season both on and off the pitch in 2018/19. Our desire to increase our global reach while continuing to make our fans proud by doing things differently in the Watford way is fully supported by Sportsbet.io. We are thrilled to have found a partner that matches our ethos by looking to disrupt the betting industry and offer their customers a fun, fast, and fair experience.”

Watford had a successful run last year, reaching the FA Cup finals and finishing the season ranked 11th in the league. So it does seem that 2019 is an exciting year for both the team and the sportsbook, as they both have a lot to celebrate and look forward to this year.
