Humans can be cruel to animals at times. And in this game called Barnyard Invasion, you will get the chance to save the farm animals from their unforgiving human masters and take them on a much-needed break. With your incredible alien superpowers, you can spoil the attempts of humans to hold the livestock captive.
In Barnyard Invasion, you will take on the role of noble aliens that originate from a planet far, far away from that of earth. Their mission? To liberate farm animals from a life of captivity and utter boredom. So how do you do this? By moving rows and columns of animals on a board, you will try to make matches of four or more so you can transport them away.
Your mission will take you to over five different farms around the United States, each one having distinct graphics and a unique theme. Between each farm, you are treated to snapshots of your alien adventures with the farm animals as you take them away on a relaxing vacation.
Barnyard Invasion features 60 levels of play on two modes of difficulty. There are a lot of obstacles and power-ups that you will uncover as you make your way through the different locales. The game also features two distinct modes of play: one is a campaign mode where you go from farm to farm, and the other is an endless mode where you stay on a single farm that gets harder and harder as the game progresses.
Let’s get Barnyard Invasion’s premise out of the way first. Yes, it’s absolutely absurd. Aliens rescuing farm animals is probably one of the very last things that players would expect a game to be themed on. However, don’t let the silliness of it all take away from the fact that Barnyard Invasion is one heck of a game.
Gameplay is thoroughly engaging without imposing mechanics that are too complex. The graphics are well-rendered, with each farm carefully crafted to have a character of its own. And the animals that you need to rescue feature gorgeous-looking animations.
