An addictive and strategic tower defense-type of a game that requires you to be at your most cunning, Monster Mash — which is developed by leading games developer Sandlot Games — will bring you to the fantasy world of Curly Valley. Besieged by odd-looking but fearsome monsters, it is now up to you to defend the villagers from the seemingly never-ending parade of monster conquerors.

Summon your sly wit and formidable might to beat back these surreptitious invaders by reinforcing the vulnerable town with all kinds of towers, powerful upgrades and extraordinary defensive weapons. With the grateful residents cheering you on, you’ll have a mighty good time conquering these would-be conquerors.

  • Hours upon hours of challenging game play
  • 20 strange and eccentric monsters
  • 9 Distinct Scenes
  • Storybook-style art
  • 11 Power-ups and level-altering items

With the online gaming space getting crowded by the minute, Monster Mash has carved a space for itself with pleasing artwork and delightful story presentation. While the gameplay provides nothing spectacular, seeing one wacky monster after another try to attack Curly Valley is a rather amusing treat.

However, Monster Mash falls a little bit short when it comes to replay value. Each map you are tasked with defending is cut-off from previous regions as you don’t hold gold in between the stages. Sure, the power-ups you acquire are saved but as far as long engagement is concerned, there is little to keep you locked in and playing. In addition, the game’s difficulty is ratcheted up considerably after just a few levels so it’s best that players come prepared for that as well.

When ranged against other titles that offer the same kind of gameplay, the number of items and towers are also scarce. However, the amount of creativity and imagination that is poured into the artwork and character stories are evident, which makes up for a lot of the game’s shortcomings. All told, Monster Mash is a great tower defense game that fans of this genre will definitely enjoy!
