Birds On A Wire Online Slot Review
Progressive Jackpot: No
As the title suggests, this slot features birds perched on power lines. It has nothing to do with either the movie starring Mel Gibson, or the song by Leonard Cohen. It is simply a fun slot powered by Thunderkick.
This slot is highly innovative, and one of the things that make it unique and interesting is the way the reels “spin”. Instead of the reels spinning like most slots do, you will see the birds on the wire fly off when you click on the Spin button, and other birds will take their place.
Gameplay begins with setting your bets. You may start by clicking on the Bet tab and then choosing an amount to wager. You can wager an amount from 0.10 to 100.00. To set the reels into motion, click on the Spin button at the rightmost part of the control panel at the bottom of the screen. For a chosen number of uninterrupted spins, click on the Autoplay button to the left of the Spin button and then choose between 5 and 5000 automatic spins.
You will not see any of the familiar playing card symbols in this game, as all base game symbols are theme-related. There are seven different birds that serve as base game symbols. You’ll see a pink bird, a blue bird, a brown bird, a light blue bird, a green bird, an orange bird, and a purple bird.
The game’s Wild symbol is represented by a big, pear-shaped black bird. It can substitute for any of the other base game symbols to help you land a winning combination, with the exception of the Scatter symbol. The game’s Scatter symbol is represented by a cardboard that has eyes peeking out and a beak drawn on it. This symbol is key to one of the game’s interesting features.
One unique feature you’ll see in this game is the Electrocuted Birds feature. Whenever you land a winning combination, the birds that form part of that combination get electrocuted and explode into nothingness. Any remaining birds above them will then drop down to take their place, and new birds will fly in to occupy the empty spaces, thereby giving you a chance to land another win. Each successive win you land increases the value of the multiplier to a maximum of 5x.
The game also has the familiar Free Spins feature. This feature is activated when you land at least three of the Scatter symbols anywhere on the reels. The cardboard box will reveal that the peeking eyes actually belong to a cat, and the cat will scare the birds off. The birds will fly to another set of power lines, and the free spins will begin. When this feature is active, the multipliers for electrocuted birds are 4x, 8x, 12x, and 20x. When your ten free spins are over, you will get the Inwinity Spin, which means the spins will continue until you land a winning combination.
