Da Vinci Diamonds Dual Play Online Slot

Date Updated:9 Sep 2019 Written by Jerico

Da Vinci Diamonds became so successful that no one was surprised when IGT released a sequel. Among the biggest differences offered by this slot are the double reels and 20 more paylines. Having 10 reels and 40 paylines in total certainly gives you amazing opportunities for a massive payout. And the slot is made even more brilliant by excellent graphics and an engaging soundtrack.

Gameplay begins with setting your bets. You may start by clicking on the +/- Line Bet tabs on the left side of the control panel at the bottom of the screen. This sets the coin denomination you want to wager per line, from 1 to 3,000. You may then set the reels into motion by clicking on the big, yellow Spin button on the right side of the control panel. For a chosen number of uninterrupted spins, click on the Autoplay button on the rightmost end of the control panel.

Feature Symbols

Just like its predecessor, there are no playing card symbols in this game, as all base game symbols are theme-related. Low-value symbols are represented by the same red, green, and orange gems found in the original Da Vinci Diamonds slot. High-value symbols are also the same popular Da Vinci portraits—the Mona Lisa, a portrait of Cecilia Gallerani, and the Portrait of a Young Man. And the valuable Da Vinci Diamonds logo is still present in this game.

The game’s Wild symbol is also the same as the original’s—a pink gem in an ornate frame with the word “wild” printed across it. It can substitute for the other base game symbols, with the exception of the Bonus symbol. This is where the sequel slightly differs from the original. Instead of just the word “bonus” with intricate borders, the Bonus symbol in this game has the words “extra paylines bonus” boldly printed.

Bonus Rounds

The Tumbling Reels feature is still present in this game, but it becomes more exciting with Tumble Thru, which allows symbols from the top reels to tumble down and replace the symbols on the bottom reels. This means the advantage you get from the Tumbling Reels feature is practically doubled in this game.

The main bonus round, which is the Free Spins round, is also upgraded in this version of Da Vinci Diamonds. It is activated in the same manner—by landing at least three Bonus symbols on reels one, two, and three—and you still get 6 free spins to begin with. But what makes the Free Spins round more exciting in this game is that you get 20 more paylines while the feature is active. This means you’ll be playing with 60 paylines in the Free Spins round!

Even better news is that the re-trigger potential is the same in this game as it is in the original. If you land three more Bonus symbols on the first, second, and third reels during any of your free spins, you get 6 more free spins! This can go on until you’ve reached the maximum 300 free spins.
