Irish Charms Online Slot Review

Progressive Jackpot: No

Paylines: 25

RTP: 96.6%

Set in rolling hills and farms, this game takes you to the land where leprechauns, four-leaf clovers, and dreams of gold at the end of the rainbow abound. The game’s design itself shows you exactly where you are, with the rainbow streaming from front to back, in colorful splendor. The game container itself adds to the theme, with two four-leaf clovers flanking the game’s name and old stone walls crawling with foliage taking you back to the old country.

The game’s controls are located at the bottom of the screen and are slightly different from most Spinomenal games. The Play button is located to the lower right of the screen and the Auto Spin or Auto Bet button is found to its lower left. You can activate fast play by clicking the double arrow button beside Auto Bet, if you want the reels to spin faster.

To increase or decrease your bets, simply click on the plus and minus buttons beside the bet field of the control panel. You can raise your bet to a high of 250 or lower it to a low of .25. You can also check out the list of symbols and find out more about the game by clicking Help, which is also found at the bottom of the screen.

FEATURE SYMBOLS

Since the game revolves around the theme of Irish charms, it is but natural to expect symbols that have something to do with Irish folklore and symbolism. The symbols are divided into special symbols, high paying symbols, and low paying ones. Special symbols include Free Spins, which is represented by a rainbow, the Wild symbol, which is a leprechaun, and the Bonus/Scatter symbol, which is the proverbial pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Low paying symbols are not your usual card number but are, instead, images that are still somewhat connected with Irish folklore. These include a blue sack of rubies, a green sack of sapphires, a brown sack of assorted jewels, and two purple sacks of gold. High paying symbols include a lucky horseshoe, a four-leaf clover, a golden harp, a smoking pipe, and a mug full of ale.

BONUS ROUNDS

Since the game has special symbols, it’s natural to think that there are bonus rounds to be had here, and you are right to think that. The game has quite a few bonuses for you to aim for and these include the following:

Free Spins – This is triggered by the appearance of the Free Spins symbol. Get 3 of these and you get 5 free spins plus a 2x multiplier. 4 symbols gives you 10 free spins and a x5 multiplier. If you get 5 of these on the screen, you are rewarded with 15 free spins and a x10 multiplier.

Surprise Wild – Standard wilds give you more than just a symbol that can take the place of any other symbol (save for Free Spins and Bonus). These also double as multipliers. 2 wilds on your reels will give you a 2x multiplier. 3 wilds on your reels will give you a 4x multiplier. Getting four of these will reward you with a 8x multiplier. For the surprise wild, you will suddenly find a random symbol suddenly turning into a Wild symbol, hence the surprise.

Expanding Wild – This is a special Wild symbol that only appears in the Free Spins round and in the middle reel. It can appear out of the blue and fill the entire middle reel to help give you massive wins.

Bonus Game – Get three or more of the Bonus or Scatter symbol and you will be given a bonus game to play. You will be asked to pick from a series of pots that will award you with either coins or more picks. If you get symbols from the pots, these will give you extra picks. If you finish all your picks and all you get are coins, you run out of picks.
