Spinning Lights Online Slot Review

Progressive Jackpot: No

Provider: Spinomenal

Paylines: 50

Reels: 5 (3-4-4-4-3)

RTP: 95%

Take a step back in time when neon lights, vinyl records, colorful outfits, and disco were the hottest thing in the world with this game from Spinomenal. Called Spinning Lights, this game takes you to the time when roller skates, multi-colored glasses, bright neon lights, and disco was what everyone loved. The game’s background is an image of an old city skyline with bright lights and spotlights streaming into the air.

The grid of the game isn’t your typical 5x3 grid since it is a five-reel slot that has a diamond-shaped playing screen. The grid is a unique 3-4-4-4-3 and may feature not only individual images in squares but larger ones in 2x2 and 3x3 grids. To spin the reels, click on the vinyl album icon in the middle of the control panel at the bottom. If you want to launch hands-free spins, click on the Auto Play button to spin the reels continuously.

Before you launch hands-free spins, choose your bet via the bet field, which is located to the left side of the control panel. Pick from bets that range from .01 to 10 by clicking on the plus and minus buttons. Just remember that each bet is multiplied by the number of active lines in the game, which is 30 lines, so if you bet 10, each spin will cost you 300. If you want to learn more about the game, the Help button is what you should press.

FEATURE SYMBOLS

This disco-era slot machine features symbols that are reminiscent of such a time. These include low paying and high paying symbols. Low paying symbols are the top four cards in a standard deck, namely Jack, Queen, King, and Ace, all stylized to look like neon lights. High paying symbols are also in neon colors but are symbols of things that were popular in those days. These include headphones, rainbow-colored sunglasses, a disco DJ, a woman with 80s hair, and kissing on the dancefloor.

Also on the reels are special symbols that launch special features. These are the Free Spins symbol, which is represented by a mirror ball, and the Wild symbol, which is a neon light star.

BONUS ROUNDS

The game has a few special features for you to look out for. These include the following:

Mega Symbols – These are the larger versions of the regular high-paying symbols in the game. These can appear as 2x2 and 3x3 images on the middle part of the grid, which are reels 2, 3, and 4.

Stacked Wilds – This is another feature that you can find in the game, although this happens only during the base game. The Wild symbol may appear as a stacked version of itself randomly anytime during your game. This only happens on reels 1 and 5.

Bonus Win – This is another random feature in the base game. A spinning wheel that will show a winning amount will suddenly appear on one of the squares and reward you with the cash amount that appears on it. This can appear as a single spinning wheel or multiple spinning wheels.

Free Spins – This is triggered when you get the Free Spins symbol on reels 1 and five. This will give you 10 free spins. During this round, you will also experience what is called the Prize Box feature. This is found on the upper right corner of the machine and will show multipliers. The box’s wheel will spin and show you a multiplier. If you get a winning combination during that spin, the amount you won will be multiplied by the number in the Prize Box.
